No. 6 of 15 and Fabulous Celebration of Pincushions and Lazy Girl Giveaway Winner Announcement

Today is one VERY special day! Not only are we going to announce the winner of the Lazy Girl Giveaway but we're also going to introduce the 6th pincushion in the 15 and Fabulous Celebration of Pincushions! AND because it's the 15th of the month, we're holding ANOTHER giveaway to celebrate our 15th year in business!

Without further ado, I give you No. 6 of the Fifteen and Fabulous Celebration of Pincushions! The Sweet Pea Pincushion! This pincushion is extra special! In addition to the beautiful hand dyed felted wool from Weeks Dye Works that we use in our pincushion kits, this pincushion also includes Handbehg felted wool balls and green Beadalon craft wire!   7. I love great big Jersey Tomatoes. I remember sneaking out to my parents garden with a salt shaker and enjoying every last bite. Those were the days!

  25. Although it's not really a "spring" vegetable, more a summer one, I love fresh home-grown tomatoes. They remind me of my home in Georgia and helping my grandpa garden when I was little. He wouldn't allow me into the tomato patch because he was afraid I would step on one. I would stand at the edge and watch the basket as it was filled with those beautiful red things! Makes my mouth water now.

  29. Fiddleheads! I didn't taste them -- or even know about them -- until a few years ago, but since then I've tried to make up for lost time. The season is short for these treasures, so we're already starting to make extra trips to the local green markets to make sure we don't miss out!!!

  33. We ♥ all kinds of veggies @ our house... My fave right now is grilled eggplant with olive oil & basil. I can't wait for the eggplant plants in my gardent to start blooming!
